Mottled Cognac Hand Burnished Prong Belt
I’ve always felt that a buckle can change the entire feel of a belt—even when the leather stays exactly the same. With this one, I wanted to keep that warm, versatile cognac strap, but mellow out the mood a little by pairing it with a burnished brass buckle.
The result is more tonal and earthy—less contrasty than its satin silver sibling, and definitely a touch more relaxed. That brushed golden tone plays really nicely with the natural warmth of the leather, softening the look and adding a sense of ease.
We’ve used the same grained leather with rich depth and just a hint of burnishing along the edges. It’s been finished with care to give a balanced surface—neither too glossy nor too flat—so it sits confidently in both casual and elevated settings. I see this worn with denim, with soft flannel trousers, even with light tailoring in warmer months. It’s approachable, elegant and just that little bit different. A real wardrobe staple to turn to time and again across the seasons.
