Molten Lava Garland Burnout Pony Hair Belt
I'll be honest — I'm a stubborn soul. But even I can be worn down, and after a few years of being cajoled by customers who clearly knew better than me, I capitulated. Vulcano is back.
And they were right. This colourway — a deep, burnished mix of orange, rust and brown, the Van Gogh burnout technique removing colour in irregular, organic patches across the pony hair — looks less like a dyed hide and more like something formed by heat and time. Molten. Earthy. Genuinely warm in a way that few belt leathers ever manage.
Here's the thing about Vulcano: it's a serious upgrade on brown. If you're the kind of person who reaches for a brown belt with tan chinos or autumn tones, this does everything that belt does — and then some. The warmth is richer, the texture more alive, the overall effect more considered. And yet somehow it's surprisingly easy to wear. The tones are deep enough that it grounds an outfit rather than fighting it.
What sets the Garland apart is in its construction. A smooth leather piping runs the full length of the edge — a garland finish that gives the belt a sleekness and definition that elevates the whole thing, keeping the focus exactly where it belongs.
The buckle is deliberate in its restraint. An antique brass prong that leans into the warm tones of the leather and quietly disappears — no contrast, no competition. Just a beautifully finished piece of hardware that says: this belt is the point.
Works well for both men and women. Autumn dressing, warm neutrals, earthy tones — this belt was made for all of it.
Made one at a time in our small Spanish atelier, by people who were probably glad I finally listened.
