The Costello (named fondly after the eponymous star of Abbott & Costello fame) has always rewarded closer inspection — and in this deep olive green the hand-tanning and individual hand-burnishing process is simply magnificent, the colour shifting from a bright, fresh centre to rich, almost forest-dark edges with a depth and complexity that only hand-craft can achieve.
The brogue-inspired circular perforations running both edges add their familiar craft signature, the darker burnished tone catching within each hole and giving the leather yet another dimension to discover.
The aged gold arrowhead prong buckle is the natural soulmate for this leather.
